As an indie theatre production collective, part of theatrethreesixty’s mission is to tell the stories that we want to tell. This means that we want to put on productions that are meaningful to us and more importantly to the community that the collective operates in. These are the stories that will resonate with all of us because they mirror our lives and what we see around us today.
We really feel that “Angels in America: Part One - Millennium Approaches” is one such production. Not only is it a powerful and relevant play but it is also a play that has never been staged here in Malaysia. We feel that it is time that the local audience gets a chance to experience this moving play for themselves. We have started on the journey to realize this plan to bring the characters to live on stage at Damansara Performing Arts Center (DPAC) from 8 -17 Aug and would like to invite you, with your financial contributions, to join us in this journey.
As part of our goals to make theatre going experience affordable to everyone, we have also set our ticket prices at a very affordable price point for a professionally produced production. The flip side for us doing this is that we would not be able to cover the remainder of our cost just by ticket sales alone. We need your help to continue the rest of this journey with your generous contributions.

As our thank you for your assistance in helping us reach our goal, you and other contributors will be invited to a special performance of the show on an exclusive crowd funder’s night on Tuesday 11th Aug, 8:30pm. On top of the performance that you will be seeing that night, you will also be treated to an exclusive backstage access to meet with the cast and crew as well as the opportunity to discover how we put on a show such as this together. In addition to the special performance day for you, we will also have a commemorative programme book and T-shirt waiting for you to bring back as a token of our heartfelt thanks for helping us meet our goal.
For those of you who own your own business or companies, you may be interested to know that we are also offering advertisement space in our programme books in addition to your bag of goodies for helping us with this production. We would also have buntings printed out for your company or business to be displayed at the venue for the duration of the run.
We hope that you will find these treats attractive for you to come and join us in our journey to put on the Malaysian premiere of “Angels in America: Part One - Millennium Approaches”. Your support and contribution will ensure that we can reach the final destination together.
